Thank you to all the staff at Bernard Laverty's Funerals. I had rung earlier in the year to ask questions about the process of what would happen when my aunt passed away in a nursing home. I never felt my questions were considered silly and I finished the phone call feeling confident about what I needed to do. When our aunt passed away, my sister and I were able to get an appointment at a convenient time. We knew what we wanted and we felt our ideas were fully understood. Thank you to all the staff, and especially Annabelle, for your kindness, compassion and understanding.

We would like to sincerely thank Bernard Laverty Funerals, and especially Mandy and Ken, for the care and support they gave us after the recent loss of our dad, Paul. From the very beginning Mandy and Ken showed us nothing but kindness, patience and understanding. At a time when everything felt overwhelming, they were calm, respectful, and genuinely caring, which made a huge difference to us. Mandy’s warmth, along with Ken’s steady guidance and quiet reassurance, helped us through moments that were very hard to face. They took the time to really listen and made sure Dad was treated with dignity every step of the way. We are deeply grateful for the genuine care and respect they showed us during one of the hardest times of our lives. It meant more to us than we can properly put into words. Thank you, Mandy and Ken. We are so supremely grateful for the kindness, care, patience and empathy that was provided by Samantha, Mandy and the entire team at Bernard Laverty Funerals in Macksville. From the outset, we were treated with warmth, grace, care and understanding, and their gentle approach made an extremely difficulty time as easy as possible. Mandy went above and beyond to make the celebration of our beautiful Mum's life authentic, meaningful and special for everybody, in person and online. They stepped up and provided additional support when we forgot to save our pictures to a USB, and we loved that their invoice humanised the experience (featuring "care of our loved one" for transferring our Mum from the hospital to their office, dressing her, and making her smell like roses). We could not have been more impressed and will forever be grateful for their kindness, humanity and commitment to giving our Mum the farewell and celebration she deserved. A million thanks. We could not be more grateful and highly recommend everybody in the team.

My mum and I are so grateful to the team for all their guidance, genuine care and professionalism. Annabelle, Sam, Mandy, all absolutely amazing and so very helpful. Just truly lovely people. Whether speaking or emailing any of the three, we felt we were dealing with the same person. Their communication style, prompt replies and effortless guidance was just beyond anything we expected, and so aligned with each other. Sam is amazing Words can’t truly express how wonderful Sam and the team at Bernard Laverty’s are. Grief is a hard thing to navigate but they make it as easy as possible. From the first call, then Visit to my Uncle’s Bedside, Sam treated him with dignity and compassion, ensuring she took down every detail of his plan for his service. After he passed, she made sure everything went smoothly. His service at the chapel was a beautiful send off . Her professionalism, grace and care for my uncle and our family will not be forgotten. A truly compassionate and professional experience Dealing with the passing of my Nana has been one of the hardest moments of my life, but Sam and her team made the entire process so much more manageable. From the very beginning, Sam showed genuine compassion and absolute professionalism. She seemed to know exactly what I needed, even when I didn’t know myself. Those little pushes, bits of guidance, and moments of support were things I’ll forever be grateful for. Sam made the days leading up to the funeral not just organized, but beautiful. You can truly feel that she cares about the families she works with, she makes you feel as though your loved ones are loved by her too. Because of Sam and her team, my Nana’s farewell was handled with dignity, warmth, and respect. They helped create a space where we could say goodbye in a meaningful and comforting way. I was absolutely flying blind when I walked into the Bernard Laverty’s office to begin organising my Nans funeral. I was overwhelmed and did not know what to do or where to start. Sam was quick to assure me she had this-and she really did. After half an hour talking to Sam she had everything organised for me, with so much ease. Her compassion and care and amazing knowledge put any worries I had at rest. It ensured I could grieve and be present knowing in full that everything was being handled by the best. She communicated promptly and continued to support me through other bereavement matters well after the funeral. Nothing was too much of an ask, nothing was too hard, everything was explained in great detail and with care. To Sam, Mandy, Darren and the whole crew, I cannot thank you all enough. Mandy and the team at Bernard Laverty’s were very supportive and helped us through the difficult time in organising Mum’s service. The service was beautiful and very fitting for a lady of almost 100 years old. When we visited the grave the afternoon of her service, you wouldn’t have even known it had been disturbed.
